Better to use dev time on something fun and useful not making a loop just to have a loop at the end of endless for those that want to mindlessly keep doing the same thing over and over again till you reach some soft cap due to being out of workshop space (or cant place more workshops as hard limit via engine creating lag) while tech times take to long vs the speed its getting colder to kill you.Д®ven a tech that just gives you a minor benefit of +1% coal from a thumper for example what would be the point when you already got unlimited coal. Thats not fun thats just a loop to have a loop. So even if we could endless tech up there would be no point to it other than to make a endless loop of keep making more workshops drop a auto in it to get faster tech add a thumper and 4 posts to drop autos in there for coal that set gen heat one level higher to deal with next storm. The dev time is better used making content thet want to that wont be half assed than the aspects dumped into endless to expand endless as time goes on as a side bonus.Д®sp as even if there was endless tech the game has hard limits on how much people we can have which includes autos (that are not pointless).

Its unlikely there going to put dev time into a mode they quite obv half assed just since people wanted it. It was made since people wanted a sandbox mode. Endless mode was never made to be truly 'endless'.
